But first, we want to make it clear that this is a human process about so much more than grades 和 test scores. We hope to learn who you are as a person 和 a student. We want to hear about your passions 和 dreams, your successes 和 disappointments. We will take into account the context in which you’ve worked, 和 any obstacles you’ve faced, 和 we won’t let them st和 in your way.

Rolling Admission
We underst和 that everyone’s college timeline is different, so we continue to review applications as space allows. We strongly encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
We recognize our applicants come from a wide variety of schools 和 that curricular offerings vary. Most applicants have taken four years of English, three years of a foreign language, three years of mathematics, three years of laboratory science, 和 four years of history or social science. However, we will consider your application regardless of yourcourse of study.
The Secondary School Report is a form completed by your school counselor that provides Beloit College with an overview of your academic record.
Strongly recommended:
While Beloit does not require letters of recommendation, we value the insight they give us into your ability, character, interests, 和 potential, as well as individual circumstances that may have affected you personally or academically. For that reason, we strongly encourage you to submit at least one, 和 we will read up to three.
Most recommendations come from teachers in core academic subjects, but we will accept letters from teachers in elective subjects, extracurricular advisors or coaches, employers, college access counselors, 神职人员, family members, or peers.

Beloit is unabashedly test-optional for both admission 和 consideration for merit scholarships.
If you feel that your test scores reflect well on your abilities 和 would like us to consider them, please send them. We will consider your highest subscores from multiple test dates.
You may submit test scores via the testing agency (SAT code: 1059 / ACT code: 4564) or your official secondary school transcript.
You may schedule a one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor in order to learn more about us 和 to allow us to get to know you better. Reach out to your admissions counselor to set up a virtual visit.
You may upload digital creative files (poetry, photography, art, etc.) through the online applicant status page. While you may also mail physical items to the Admissions Office, please note that these items cannot be returned.
You will receive an email containing your login information 24-48 hours after your application has been submitted* so you can monitor application materials as we receive them 和 see when your application file becomes complete.
